The newest standards for automotive lifts "Safety Requirements for the Operation, Inspection, and Maintenance of Automotive Lifts” (ANSI/ALI ALOIM) and "Safety Requirements for the Installation and Service of Automotive Lifts" (ANSI/ALI ALIS) help users identify what is required of them to comply with OSHA. These guidelines are available for a nominal fee from the ALI website http://www.autolift.org/index.htm We recommend that any company that utilizes vehicle lifts have a safety inspection done at a minimum of once per year.
